Medescribe employs an innovative strategy to deploy a system of data transfer over complex networks with various levels of authentication to link medical transcriptionists, management entities, hospitals, and physician practices securely. To be more specific, Virtual Private Networks (VPN) is used to interconnect the various nodes of the system. Medescribe adds additional levels of security by providing Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connections with 128-bit encryption and Equifax digital certificate authentication. The combination of these solutions creates private, encrypted connections through the Internet for secure transfer of confidential patient data.

Dictations can be recorded in any of the latest Olympus digital recorders supporting DSS format and uploaded and downloaded from the web page. Our state of the art Electronic Medical Records application, CareViewer enables extensive search features, patient record management, patient billing and a host of other attributes, which would be an ideal Transcription Technology Solution to any health care facility. Medescribe provides a free beta version of CareViewer software for all clients.

We provide the security tools necessary to transfer audio dictation from a physician's PC to Medescribe dictation system, which includes Medescribe Virtual Private Network (VPN) and encrypted email.
